Aliah Schwartz (they/them)

Aliah is a queer multi-disciplinary artist with practices in dance, visual art, puppetry, and arts/community organization administration and management. Originally from Nova Scotia, they were based in Montréal for five years before moving to Toronto in 2019.

Aliah has presented and performed dance works at: Tangente Danse, Kinetic Studio’s Open Studio Series, Zone Homa Festival, Art Matters Festival, Festival Quartiers Danses, and toured internationally in the USA, Canada and Singapore with Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia.

Aliah graduated from Concordia University with a BFA double majoring in Contemporary Dance and Studio Arts.
